Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are certain skills a student needs to master in Kindergarten, including counting backwards and learning the meaning and importance of traditions.

New Years Day is the perfect holiday to help teach these skills because I can make real-life connections in the classroom to make this learning experience fun, engaging, and meaningful.

Your donations will provide New Years Day books that will educate us about different traditions people practice to celebrate. One such tradition is a making a resolution, which is perfect for our writing lesson as students can set goals for the new year. As part of your donation, we will also recieve party hats, noise makers, and a balloon drop net!

Unfortunately we are not in school on New Years Day, so I would love to ring in the new year with my kindergarteners on January 7th when they return to school. Thanks to you and your generous donations, I can't wait to start the New Year with a BANG!
