Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the 100th day of school rapidly approaching, we are in the midst of planning fun activities to celebrate with the students. One of the activities includes designing a shirt to show 100. There are many students in my class this year with families who are struggling financially, and will not be able to participate in this activity because they cannot afford the cost of a shirt and materials to decorate. I would like to ease the burden for those students by providing them with the materials so that they are able to participate with their peers. The white shirts requested will be given to those students, along with some fun 100th-day activities.

This activity is fun because it allows the students to interactively work to see the many different ways that 100 can be shown.

Students will participate in a "fashion show" for their classmates to show off their designs and get excited to celebrate the 100th day of school.
