My Project

We have some of the most amazing seventh- and eighth-graders at our school, SCPA! We're based in Southeast DC. We believe that international experiences will change our boys' lives! For the past four years, these students studied the global Black experience. As part of our program, our seventh-graders will travel to Europe. They will follow in the steps of Frederick Douglass, our character model, as he traversed throughout Europe as a newly freed Black man. Meanwhile, our eighth-graders will travel to South Africa. They will connect with their heritage as they experience the Motherland!

To ensure that we have an amazing travel experience that changes their lives, we want to provide our boys with carry-on luggage.

Most of our boys are from low-income families where travel is not the norm; so they do not have proper luggage. Therefore, we want all of our boys to have uniform luggage for their travel that will make them feel like a jet setters! We simply do not wan
