Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my class, English 10 is a fantastic voyage. We study Fear, Belonging, Freedom, and Vision and meet guys like Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka, FDR, and Oedipus. We read challenging texts and compose complicated essays. Every road trip has rough spot made more manageable by some chips and a drink. It would help a lot if we had a "gas station" in our classroom for struggling travelers to get the boost they need to get back in the driver's seat. We also create some fun and memorable projects along the way like portfolios, posters, and interactive journal entries. Every good trip deserves a souvenir. A color printer and button maker would give us the chance to create merch using student drawings or graphic designs. What better keepsake than a button or t-shirt designed by you or a classmate? Everyone has to take English 10. Help me take my students on the ride of a lifetime.
