Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Effective communication skills are crucial for elementary students as they navigate their academic and social environments. These skills not only help them express their thoughts and ideas clearly but also enable them to understand and connect with others. The walkie-talkies will help students build the confidence to explore the world independently and have the courage to play games with other peers on the walkie-talkie. In the process children learn how to be independent and self-reliant. This independence and freedom can teach the students life long skills.

Effective communication is absolutely essential for students to be successful in their schooling.

With these walkie-talkies, students will be more willing to communicate with others, and have fun communicating, which is a great opportunity to help students develop social skills. The students will also learn the importance of dialogue and proper communication and how it will increase their reading and writing skills.
