My Project
I am so lucky to work with a diverse group of creative, energetic, responsible, caring individuals that just happen to be 13 years old. All year, we work together on theater productions that do so much more than entertain. The work we do together gives the students so much confidence and re-affirms their ability to solve their own problems and think for the good of the whole group. Each semester, they produce a performance or musical that is always impressive.
But the audience can't really enjoy their performance, if they cannot hear it, and that means working microphones.
We are so very fortunate to have a microphone for each performer in the play. But, that means that we need to use many, many AA batteries to run those microphones. The 400 plus batteries that we use in just one school year, really digs into our theater budget.
By donating batteries to our production, you can ensure that we can still afford to give every student the opportunity to be heard. Literally!
