Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember doing an assignment that you were so proud of and wanted to show your whole class of peers? My students are craving the attention that their work deserves.

My students come from a world where education may not be their number one priority.

They are not used to feeling good about their work and having the opportunity to display it. They are so eager to show what they are made of and to show their peers what they can accomplish. We are an inner city school where most of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. We don't have the luxury of having a large budget where we can order what we need for our classrooms. Our students deserve to have the same opportunities as other school districts and be able to use up and coming technology in their own classrooms. Right now we are using overhead projectors with overhead paper and our school has run out and not able to get anymore so student work can not be displayed to the classroom for students to get constructive criticism on.

My Project

The ELMO will help change my students' lives by helping them to achieve success with their work. They will be able to see their work displayed for their classmates. They will be able to receive constructive criticism from their classmates on how to improve their work and will be able to help each other be successful

Please help us to show how great we are and to help each other to become better students.

We would be forever grateful and will put the ELMO to good use! Help us to use up and coming technology to explore our learning.
