I am a third grade teacher with 20 wonderful students. In third grade, it is very important that students start reading all types of books. Throughout the week, my students go “book shopping” to fill their “Book Bins”. (Plastic bins that they keep five books in at their desk.) My students often say, “I can’t find a book I want to read!” As a third year teacher, I have begun to accumulate books on a variety of topics, but the current bins we keep our books are slowly falling apart! We are in need of sturdy bins that will help my students find books in our classroom easily. The books are currently being housed in are cracking and becoming dangerous for little fingers! My students’ personal book bins are also cracked, causing a mess of books on the floor on a daily basis! By providing our class with book bins and personal book boxes, and two classroom display bookstands, you would be helping to organize our classroom library. In doing so, you will assist us in completing our “Mission: Organization”!
