Blue collar workers are here to stay. Here in New York there is a need for solid auto techs. and at CO-OP Tech. we change some inner city students from hanging out in the streets to being able to work at small shops and dealerships.

The N.Y.C. Dept. of Ed. has been cutting back on teacher and school resources,this hurts the teacher's ability to connect and help our kids. My students need something to "motorvate" them and when I first introduce Jeopardy last year the students eyes lit up and their grades went up.

I bought the starter set of classroom Jeopardy last year and unfortunately it only comes with 1 game pack and only with 1 set of remotes and scoreboards. this allowed at the most 9 students to play. so by adding the extra remotes and scoreboards I can have all my kids play at one time. In my automotive program there is a lot of textbook studies and as with most students today they don't take the time to read, but when I make a game/competition at of it they all seem to get it.

By donating the funds I need to buy Classroom Jeopardy my students, mostly inner city kids will have a lot more fun in my classroom which will help me produce better auto techs.
