High quality education; an investment that keeps on giving. I am a fourth year Civics and Economics teacher in North Carolina. The public charter school where I teach is in a highly impoverished community that has been rocked by the closing of factors and declining agricultural production due to a sustained drought. Most of my Seniors receive either free or reduced lunch.

As a charter school, we lack the luxury of a concrete school budget. Oftentimes, we have to meet the needs of the students as they come to us. Of those pressing needs is exposure to advanced technology.

An LCD projector for my classroom will help my students develop critical awareness. My plan is to use the LCD projector to project images, show video clips, and use as a supplement to lectures. The LCD projector will help bring the global and national issues to light. Also, it will assist in opening eyes to the endless possibilities of the 21st century.

Your help will ensure that my students graduate with a high quality 21st century education. The LCD projector you donate will open their eyes to images that help them develop as thinkers and decision makers.
