The partnership opens up new opportunities for our teachers to fund projects that will help provide the educational experiences our students need to be prepared to thrive in the 21st Century. About Pasadena ISD

Located in Southeast Texas 18 miles east of Houston, Pasadena is home to the Houston Ship Channel and is a regional hub for the oil and gas industry. Pasadena Independent School District (ISD) is a large, urban district with close to 50,000 students in 68 schools. Our student make up is about 84% Hispanic, 8% African American, 5% Caucasian, and 3% Asian. Around 80% of our students are Economically Disadvantaged, and 60% are At Risk (of academic failure).
