About Owsley County Schools

Owsley County Schools is located in the Appalachia Mountains in rural Eastern Kentucky. We have one elementary school and one middle/high school, serving approximately 620 students. Although our region is often met with challenges in poverty, infrastructure, and opportunity/access, Owsley County Schools will not be defined by any barriers. Rather, we seek partnerships to provide all students with the tools and resources they need for maximum learning and growth.
