How it works

Optimum Employee Gift Codes

Optimum is proud to once again work through DonorsChoose to support local teachers and students, in partnership with all of you – our employees. As part of our company-wide $1 million dollar commitment to public schools across our footprint, we’re giving employees the opportunity to help determine where the funding gets allocated by providing you with a $50 DonorsChoose gift code.

Instructions on how to make your donation are below. Please note codes will expire on 1/5/2024. Any unredeemed funds will be applied by the company to classroom needs across our service footprint.

  1. After reading these instructions, enter your code in the box above and click "Get Started."

    • Each employee has received a unique code in an email from “A Message From Our Leaders.” If you are unable to find it, please contact Allison Aylward at allison.aylward@alticeusa.com
  2. Choose a project that inspires you!

    • Search for a project in an Optimum community or click here to browse pre-selected projects in our communities.
      • Helpful Tip: Choosing a classroom project in our Optimum service area is a great way to demonstrate our company commitment to the communities we serve, and provides us the opportunity to follow up with these classrooms.

  3. Enter a donation amount and click "Give."

    • If you feel compelled to give above and beyond the gift code amount, please feel free to.
  4. Let the classroom know you are an employee of Optimum.

    • Help ensure our local communities know we support them by adding a note with your donation that lets the teacher know you are an employee of Optimum and why the project inspired you.
      • Example: “As an employee of Optimum, I’m proud to make a difference in our local communities by supporting your project. I was inspired to support your project because…”

  5. Click "Proceed to Checkout" to enter your info and finalize your donation.
