Nye County School District is located in Southern Nevada, about sixty miles west of Las Vegas and is the largest geographical school district in the contiguous 48 states, spanning 18,182 square miles. Our 17 school site buildings are located in rural and remote rural areas of Nevada and include two K-8 one-room schoolhouses. 100% of the students we serve qualify for free meals.

To continually increase achievement, we believe in giving each child the tools to reach their own potential and goals. We want all students to have the skill set to achieve their dreams.
