Learning English requires exposure to many forms of print; and having a classroom library of rich literature, that is both diverse and engaging, is essential to meeting this need. I not only want build my students' literacy skills, but I want to inspire them to develop and enjoy a lifelong love of reading. The books I selected with intention, are also illustrated beautifully, providing strong visuals that will help students process and understand different concepts while they are learning how to read and speak. As a first year Educator of such extraordinary students, I am looking to enhance their learning environment by building a well curated classroom library.

About my class
