• Pick Me Up in the School Library!

  I want to thank you for your support towards this project! This is one of my favorite things I do in the library space because I love to see how something so simple, can lift so many students up.

  Something as simple as a piece of candy, gum, a mint, can turn someone's day around.

  I love keeping a little candy basket out by our check out station and letting the kids have that joyful moment with their little treat.

  I am so appreciative for your support towards this project because we do go through lots of supplied with the candy basket and I really appreciate the support for the restock that we really needed.

• Library Book Fairy and Class Pet...Oh My!

  This project has brought so much excitement into the library. My students adore our new library cat, that we named Luna. They love taking care of Luna and seeing her everyday!

  Our library book fairy has been so exciting as well. The students love making books for our book fairy and voted to name our book fairy Roz.

  These additions to the library have been so exciting for the students. They love everything so much and they are excited to see the library cat and library book fairy everyday!

• School Supply Kits for Those in Need!

  This was such a powerful project for my students. They worked to create the pencil pouches with materials that were donated to area schools that had students affected by hurricane flooding. They created supportive cards to go in each pencil pouch as well. They worked incredibly hard on this project for students in their community to show them that they care and want to support them during this time.

  I am so proud of the students for how much pride they took in their work and how hard they worked to make this a nice pencil pouch and card for students in their community.

  This project was a wonderful way for my students to feel involved in a community service project in our local community to help students in their region.

• Colors of Our World for Library Activities!

  Thank you so much for funding this project for my students. They were so excited to get new Colors of the World crayons, colored pencils, and markers. Having these items is so meaningful to my students and have those to help represent all students is so important.
