My preschool students and myself cannot thank you enough for your generosity in helping this project get fully funded. The expressions on the children's faces when we opened each package was simply priceless. I have never seen them so excited and happy! We couldn't get the costumes unpacked and tried on fast enough!
Our preschool program is a self funded tuition based program. Therefore, purchasing these kinds of things for our children would be virtually impossible.
Without your donations, the children in my classroom would not have had the opportunity to enjoy dress up as a center in our preschool classroom this year. Thank you again for your contributions and willingness to make children smile!”
On behalf of my students, their parents, and myself I want to thank you for your generosity. We greatly appreciate your contribution.
Students are now able to have an organized location for our writing workshop materials. Everything is located in that bookcase that students would need to focus on writing. Their writing folders, tools, and materials are all in reach for students.
Students also have writing portfolios which they write in daily. These are wonderful resources that will serve many students for many years.
Thank you so very much for your support.”

We have been receiving and using the Time for Kids weekly magazines since the beginning of this school year. The students in my classroom eagerly wait for the next issue to arrive. The wonderful news stories and colorful pictures along with fun and relevant articles make reading enjoyable for the children. They absolutely love how they get to read about events happening in the news, sometimes news they hear their parents discussing or watching on television.
Many weeks we use the weekly magazine in a center activity. This is a center which the students look forward to working in. The activity sheet which comes with most issues is fun, educational and highly engaging. Reading these news magazines have definitely helped my children strengthen reading skills.
My students and I are so appreciative for your kindness and generosity in helping us receive our Time for Kids subscription. Thank you so very much.”
On behalf of our Gifted center, I wanted to thank you for your generous donation to this project. The ceramics used to create pottery with our African Unit made it a uniquely enriching opportunity for our K-5 Gifted students. They absolutely loved doing clay and throwing pots on the pottery wheels, as well as handbuilding.
We have many glazes and pottery still left that we can use before the end of the year! I promised the kids that we would do another round of pottery. During the two weeks we spent doing pottery we made enough for 4 loads in the kiln at our school. We are certainly keeping our art teacher busy with all of our pottery we are having to fire in the kiln! ; -)
The generous support of individuals like you makes it possible for our organization to exist and to make the community of Gifted learners enriched and challenged.
Thank you so much for the spotlight you donated to our theatre department. It really made our production of "The Wizard of Oz" amazing. The kids really enjoyed the opportunity to work with theatre technology and it truly helped set the mood during the scenes. Having more than one spotlight also allowed more students to participate in the production.
The kids especially took advantage of the powered color changer and that fact that the spotlight is light weight and portable.
I look forward to seeing what ideas they come up with for our next production.”

Thank you so much for your donation of a witch costume and fabric for the Winkie costumes. We had so much fun putting this show together and the costume kids really enjoyed making the Winkie costumes.
Our witch really embraced her character with the amazing costume you've donated. She was a truly wicked sight to be seen.
With all of the fabric you've donated to us, our student costume makers were able to create 11 Winkie soldier costumes in red and blue with black trim.
All of these, combined with our other amazing costumes, helped make our show a wonderful success.”
Thank you for bringing these amazing and exciting sewing materials into our first grade classroom! We have completed one introductory sewing project so far. It was a tooth pillow with a pocket to put a tooth is when it falls out. They love it and many have told me they have used it recently! We are now working on a more detailed and multi-step project as you can see in the posted pictures. The students have the sewing basics down such as safety with the needles and two different kinds of stitches. They are learning to carefully pass the need through the fabric and pull it through without making knots! When we have sewing time (about once a week these days) you can here a pin drop! The students are so focused, engaged and content. Because the project takes many sewing sessions, they learn to focus and get many stitches done in each session. They also learn patience and look forward to the next time they can work on their project. Thank you again for supporting creative sewing and fine motor skills! This project funded a lot of supplies so that I will be able to continue sewing with next year's class as well. Thanks!”

Thank-you so very much for donating Time for Kids to our class. The students look forward to and completely enjoy reading their magazines every week.
Time for Kids has so many interesting articles to read and learn about. There is also a section where we get to do puzzles or answer questions. Once we read the magazine together in class and have a class discussion, the students take their magazines home to show their family.
We really appreciate all that you do for us and all the other school children. You and Time for Kids have brought the world into our classroom.”

Thank you so much for the generous donation of art supplies for my class. The oil and soft pastels have provided opportunity for the students to explore different art mediums than what are readily/usually available in a school with no art program. The students have thoroughly enjoyed learning how to use these materials.
The students in my class work hard to accomplish all "academic" tasks within the given time to do so, so that they can participate in "Art Time" on Friday afternoons. What they don't always understand (until it's over, of course) is that often, the "Art Time" incorporates academic objectives as well, as we study different artist techniques or time period pieces in addition to the "inspirational exploration" lesson times.
Again, I wish to thank you for the opportunity you have provided for my students.”

I would like to thank you on behalf of myself and my students for your donation to our classroom. The students love using the digital camera to take pictures of our science projects and other classroom activities such as math games, field trips and presentations. They take great pride in the pictures they take and enjoy sharing them on our classroom blog.
For many of the students it was their first time using a camera. All of the students now know how to take pictures and load them to the computer. The students enjoy taking a series of pictures which they can then write about on the blog. This has been a great way to introduce students to using technology and sharing what they are learning with others. Each student looks forward to when it will be their day to be the class "Photographer"
Thank you again for your donation and helping my students enjoy a new experience.”
