Thank you for your interest in Google.org’s Teen Mental Health Initiative!
Google.org has funded organizations which are providing training sessions as an entry point to connect you with expert-backed resources that support both yourself and your students’ mental health.

DonorsChoose, with support from Google.org, wants to ensure you have financial support to provide students with relevant classroom resources. If you complete one-training, you will be rewarded with a $200 gift-code to use with any of DonorsChoose's 16 vendor partners.

While you are eligible to receive only one gift-code, you are encouraged to take more than one training to gain valuable knowledge and learn mental health Practices.

Step 1.

Complete one of the following trainings from the course library. Each is designed to be accessible and take about 20-30 minutes to complete. Eligible courses include:

• Co-Regulation - Supporting Self And Students
• Creating an Inclusive Community of Care
• Creating Safe Space to Discuss Mental Health
• Creating Trauma Sensitive Classrooms - Healing Centered Engagement
• Digital Wellbeing - Supporting Students to Create Positive Digital Engagement
• Helping Students Develop Healthy Social Media Practices
• Identifying and Supporting Students in Distress
• Mental Well-being Policies and Programs for Students of Color
• Self-Care, Caring for the Caregiver, Tackling Burnout

Step 2.

Complete the feedback form. Your responses will be shared with the 3 organizations who created the training content, please share notes openly and candidly about your experience. The form is embedded below and will also be linked at the end of each training.

Step 3.

Once you submit this survey form* and your course completion is verified by the DonorsChoose team, you’ll be emailed a $200 DonorsChoose gift code within three weeks, while funds last.

Eligibility & Timeline

This initiative is only for high school teachers across the United States interested in learning about mental health for themselves and their students.

Google.org funding will support DonorsChoose to issue gift cards, until December 31, 2024. If you would like to participate, please prioritize completing your training and submitting the survey form.

*Teachers will only be able to earn and redeem 1 gift code from this opportunity. Please note, once you have submitted, our team is unable to make any direct changes or edits to your responses.
