It is with mixed emotions that I am participating in Mustaches for Kids. That's right, for the next four weeks, I will be subjecting myself to public humiliation and private doubt by growing what will no-doubt be a ridiculous looking Mustache. In order to justify this endeavor I need your support. Please sponsor my Mustache by picking a classroom project from the list below to support. And wish me and my Mustache luck. I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your donation to our classroom. The U.S. rug was such a wonderful enhancement to both the children's reading and social studies comprehension. They absolutely were thrilled to be able to have a comfortable space to settle down and read or do their work.
The headphone that were also part of the donation, were a great hit for the children to be able to have a listening center while others were at different centers. They would read along or laugh at a funny part so loud the rest of us would giggle, too! It gave them the opportunity to get over their fear of reading and actually enjoy reading.
Overall, your generous donation and kindness helped the children to understand that their education is important and that other people care about their futures. ”
With gratitude,
Ms. Floth

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children. In math, it can be difficult just using paper and pencil to fully understand and learn the concepts. So by having a LCD projector to use is amazing. The students LOVE the technology.
The projector that you have funded will enable students to learn new concepts with innovative methods and enjoy technology at the same time. I now have the ability to use the endless amount of resources that are online. My students are already loving it and are more excited about the topics the struggle with most because of the technology. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you once again and we all, my students and I, truly appreciate your generosity. No words can express our gratitude. Thank you. ”

I am writing to thank you for your gift to my science classroom. My district recently told us in February that we had a budget of zero dollars and that anything else we might need for the classroom would have to come out of our own pockets. I bring all of my energy into my classroom but without your help I could not have found the means to bring a projector here as well.
Since I received the projector I have used it almost daily and it has had a greater impact than I could have imagined. We have watched episodes of Planet Earth, which truly engaged my students in their own planet and its ecosystems. We have taken notes off of the projector, which means that students who have trouble seeing have had few issues since it appeared in my classroom. I have used PowerPoint and youtube.com. I have been able to show examples of projects as well as project my rules and expectations during group work and activities. Most importantly, the projector has helped me to be more present in my classroom since I do not have to be up at the board writing all the time but can instead circulate among my students.
My students and myself would like to give a big thank you to all of you who helped me with this effort that has had a real and tangible impact on our classroom. Words can never be enough for what you have done for this science classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Wigen-Toccalino
