At this point I am speechless and ecstatic all at the same time. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart and for opening your heart to help my students learn about math using manipulatives. This year I have been really pushing centers and I try to use manipulatives and hands-on materials whenever and however possible to ensure that my students are grasping the concepts they need for 2nd grade. I can assure that your donation will not be in vain or be thrown in the corner of my classroom. I am already envisioning how and when the math centers can be used! I cannot tell you enough how thankful I am for your generosity!
Thank you so very much for your generous contribution toward making my Autism Awareness project possible for my students. The students have been asking me about it and we are all very excited to get started!
Thank you again for your commitment to supporting our future!
I just opened this email to discover that my proposal had been funded by a generous source: you! I am so very excited. My students have been begging to have graphic novels added to our classroom library. I am thrilled to be able to tell my 8th graders that we will indeed soon have a collection of these highly coveted novels.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for thinking of our amazing students. We are truly grateful. Know that the spirit of giving will be recognized by our wonderful students.
Thank you so much for your wonderful gift of Robert Fagel's masterful translation of 'The Aeneid.' My students and I are so excited to encounter the memorable character of Aeneas, the tragic Dido, and the wealth of Greco-Roman mythology that awaits us. A poetic respite from our grammar book is often needed, and your kind gift will provide just that. Gratias vobis agimus! (We give thanks to you all!”
My students will be very excited to experience the touch tank as part of their Marine Biology class. They are seventh and eighth graders who are interested in learning. Several of them have expressed interest in careers in biology and other sciences. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to understand and appreciate unfamiliar forms of life, as they are at the age where they are forming a foundation for who they will eventually blossom into.
Thank you so much for funding the poetry proposal for my fourth grade class! My students will be so excited to receive some new books for the classroom. In October we will be working on writing haikus. There is also a poetry writing contest in our classroom magazine that we will be entering. I can't wait to give them some great examples of fun poetry”
Thank you so much for your support by funding our "Broken Pencils" proposal. Your kindness will help us to color our world through writing. Thanks to you we can look forward to becoming authors, using colorful words and expressions as well as colorful illustrators. Your gift will help us to share our stories and illustrations in the hopes of brightening our lives and others, just like you brightened ours today. Thank you so much! You are our Sunshine!
Thank you so much for your generous donation. I can't wait to inform my class that our request has been granted so quickly by your generosity! The students love Roald Dahl's work and I have talked to them about this novel, so I know they will be excited.
We anticipate the arrival of our novels and thank you for your kindness”
Thank you so much for helping create a disc golf course on our campus. My students were so excited when they heard about it. Some of them are already asking me when we are going to play and to teach them some of the rules. I have asked some of them who have played before to start thinking about how we want to design the course. I can't wait! Thank you, thank you, thank you”
With gratitude,
Mr. Douglas
This classroom project was brought to life by Susan and 56 other donors.
Please accept this note as a sincere thank you for funding the knitting needles and yarn for my elective class. The idea to teach knitting came from our home economics teacher. She does a short unit on knitting; however, many of the students have never seen a person knit before. Now, with me teaching the basics in 6th grade, they will be more successful next year. Knitting is a cross-over skill and will help them with focus, coordination and even math. Because many of my students come from disadvantaged backgrounds, they would not be able to purchase the necessary supplies. Thank you, again, for thinking of us.
Natali”
With gratitude,
Ms. Marhauer
