There are many reasons to grow a stache.
1) The "cool" factor. Lets face it, being a member of the hairy lip brigade immediately makes you cooler.
2) Upper lip warmth. When a big nor-easter comes this way your upper lip will be thankful.
3) Acts as a lint trap for your nose.

Me? I grow it for the kids. Sure, the increased sexuality of my mustache accompanied by some gray sweatpants, eagle eye sunglasses and members only jacket are tempting. But when it comes down to it, I do it for the kids.
With your help, my lip hair will help nourish the youth of our fine country. And maybe, just maybe, one day they'll rock stache's of their own...
For the next 4 weeks I'll be growing one hellacious catipillar on my upper lip and I need your support. Please donate to one of the following causes that tugs on your heart strings as they have tugged on my whiskers.

I truly appreciate your support and donations. DonorsChoose is a wonderful resource for obtaining supplies for my classroom. With these books, I my students will learn about historical events in a more interesting and satisfying way. If a student is not interested in any topic discussed, they usually don't get much out of what is taught.
These resources will allow me to teach with a variety of manipulatives as well as teach to the multiple intelligences in my classroom. I am one step closer towards reaching my goal in giving my students a well-rounded education.
What an awe inspiring addition to the classroom. The Orff instruments arrived last Thursday and there was an immediate buzz from the students. When I opened one of the instruments the class could not believe what the box contained. They keep asking me if the instruments are for them to use and when I say yes, then they ask me again if the instruments are for them.
I hope from the pictures that you can see that they are a great group of kids. They were so afraid to use the instruments and they were shocked when the pretty notes were heard. Other teachers in the hallway stopped by to see where the beautiful music was coming from. I am so eager to incorporate the instruments into our daily lessons and watch my students move to music what they need in long term memory.”
With gratitude,
Teacher
