I am so thrilled to learn that you funded my proposal, "We Need Non-Boring Nonfiction"! I'm just about to finish my first year of teaching, and I've learned so much about how to invest students in becoming better readers. The resounding key is GOOD books, but our budget unfortunately prevents the school from buying high-interest titles.

The books you are sending will revitalize a the dingiest corner in my classroom library. Your generosity will ensure that my future students will get a great start with nonfiction texts...something I'm sure will help them feel (and be) more successful on their state tests.
