Because of the addition of these instruments, more students get to participate at a time when we are playing a song in class. We have having a great time learning how to read music, play in unison and in harmony. These instruments have create many new learning opportunities for my students and I really appreciate it.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous donations to my drum circle project. I am very excited to be able to share these instruments with my students.
I teach Kindergarten and 6th grade general music and one of the things that the students ask to more then anything else is, to be able to use the drums. They love to create music and they don't have much experience with quality instruments. Because of your kindness, I am able to share something with kids who may never have had this opportunity otherwise.

Words cannot express how grateful we are for your generous donation to our classroom. When the drums arrived, my students could hardly contain themselves! Not only did we double the number of instruments in our room, we now have enough drums for every student to participate in our drumming circles during their music classes.
My students love playing in drumming circles! It is so gratifying to work as one to create soothing rhythms. Through the use of drumming circles, I have been able to more affectively teach rhythm, dynamics and tempo. Students have learned to listen to each other and work together to produce a cohesive rhythmic melody.

Thank you very much for your donation for music stands in my classroom. The stands see daily use in classes such as band and show choir as well as during group lessons and assignments. The stands have helped the students focus on their music studies.
At the start of the school year, more than half of the band members were beginners. Since then, the students have grown by leaps and bounds. They are not only an elementary/junior high band that understands musical expression, but also students who know that what they are doing is meaningful and worthwhile. Thank you for your extremely generous donations! Donors like you have made a difference in the lives of urban youth. Your donations to the project "Crank Up the Tunes" made it possible to fill our gym with great music and video for the last semester this year. It gave students a reason and focus to use their creative side to dance, move, and incorporate this movement into being physically active. In these times where drastic cuts are being made to education it gives our school and my classroom a positive note to end the year on. My students have begged to do more projects where they can use creative movement and dance and video tape it to watch later. The students find it fun to watch their music videos and critique themselves on various aspects of their project. This project and donors like you have touched many students' hearts, in a difficult year it has been a bright spot in my physical education classes and we are truly grateful. ”
This is a letter to once again thank you for your selfless generosity. Your donation to our project has given my students the opportunity to create more projects and to create more learning opportunities.
My media students have already begun to use the cameras to begin taping their next project, which is a school-wide lip sync video. The new cameras have allowed us to create a more steady picture, which makes our video look more professional. Their next project will be a documentary about one of our school activities or community event.
My public speaking students are using these new cameras to help improve their speaking skills. We are video taping their next speech so each student can see how they can become better public speakers. They will also be using these cameras to create career interview videos which demonstrate what to do and what not to do during a job interview.
Finally, my English students will be using these cameras when they create their next unit project. Students will be given the opportunity to create a video of a scene from the play, "Death of a Salesman." Having these cameras will give more students the opportunity to do this!
I can also lend these cameras to other teachers in my building so their students can benefit from. Your donation has helped to create a more fun learning experience for all of my students! We greatly appreciate it!!!”
