I was so excited to hear that my DonorsChoose project had been funded! Just the other day my students were asking about the possibility of getting some new books for our classroom library. We had recently been researching some Hispanic and African American authors and students we interested in reading some of their work. Thank you so much for the chair organizers for my second graders. They will be able to keep their supplies at hand and save tearing of materials and wasted curriculum time finding items in their desks. I know that my students will find many uses for the small pockets in the over the chair organizer to put math manipulatives, tools for learning, and art supplies in a very organized manner. Students who have a hard time keeping these supplies out of their hands when they are stored in their desks will not be able to easily access them without me seeing them, and that will help them stay focused on the lesson. Their library books and paperback books from the classroom library will stay nicer for students use in future years. Their homework folder will stay easily within reach, as will their agenda book. Thank you so much for making things easier for my 7 year olds. They will love them!!
