I am so excited to see that my project has been funded! Our classroom library really needs some new additions! These books will be used for years to come by my Gifted and Talented students. My students need challenging, yet interesting books to foster a love for reading and expand their vocabulary. The children will be so thrilled to have a wonderful new collection of good literature to read. Some of them have been through nearly every book I have! Now they will have new books to choose from. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you very much for your extremely generous donation! The US History textbook we use has five paragraphs on the Holocaust. Generally, educational materials try to avoid complex subjects rather than risk being interesting. With this class set of Maus my students will have an accessible way to learn about the Holocaust. Wow! It is so inspiring to see that you are interested in ensuring equal education for all students. I was so excited to show my students that "Evolution Right Here in the Classroom" had been funded! Your generosity will guarantee that our reading aloud the book, "The Dawn of Life," will make our exploration of evolution come to life in so many ways through using the various specimens that this proposal provides. My students will also be better prepared for a culminating field trip to see an "Evolving Planet" exhibit. This is so exciting! My students cannot believe that they are about to have some new technology in the classroom. All of the computers that we have now are so outdated. Now we can do powerpoints and learn how to type correctly. Thank you so much for giving to this proposal. You have really opened a door for my gifted students. I would not have been able to get this type of equipment on my own. These are just some of my students comments upon learning about our new computer....One student said, "I am happy because it is portable and we can take it to other classrooms to show them what we are learning about." Another student said, "I can't wait to research about gravity, how the earth spins around. I am so excited and thankful." We are so appreciative of your contribution”

Words cannot express my sincere appreciation for your extreme generosity! My class and I are so very excited that you would select our request to fund. We have a small handfull of games already in our classroom but not enough for everyone. Just last week the students were commenting on how awesome it would be if we had enough “get smarter games” for everyone to play at the same time. I had reminded them that the games are very expensive and we need to be thankful for what we have. I also told them I would do my best to add little by little to our collection. Your extreme generosity is going to give us enough games that every kid can now play at the same time. We are so excited! Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have made a difference in so many kids’ lives, for I will be able to keep these games the rest of my teaching career and each year more students will be motivated and encouraged that learning can be so much fun and getting smarter is a great way to use your time!
