  • Scientists Of The Future

    Funded Nov 16, 2012

I can not thank you enough for your generosity. The science kits we have received, and absolutely wonderful. There are so many hands on activities for the kids to complete, and experiments. The students are really looking forward to becoming an expert on a particular activity and presenting it to the class. The simple machines building kits have been extremely valuable to the science lesson that I teach to each 5th grade classroom. This was the first year that students were able to create a working version on each simple machine. Thank you again for enriching my classroom! We appreciate you.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Russell

  • Lab Supplies For Scientists-In-Training

    Funded Jan 1, 2013

Thank you for your generous donations. My students have already been reaping the benefits of having an inquiry based learning experience. In biology, my students have used the dialysis tubing to to perform enzyme labs. The same dialysis tubing is being used by my chemistry students to create a battery.

In addition, the absolute zero device, tank weight of air, and Brownlee apparatus, have served my students by allowing abstract concepts become tangible trough hand-on-labs, activities and demos.

These generous donations will continue to benefit classes and countless student to come!Thank you again for all of your support for my classroom and to your dedication in supporting students and learning.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Lucero

  • Amazing Science!

    Funded Dec 11, 2012

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children. In teaching science to small children, we need fun, hands-on materials to explain abstract things.

The tools that you have funded will enable students to create and explain their own concepts at our science center with concrete tools, which will associate to the abstract. In addition, I will be able to demonstrate how to recycle used paper as well as how to grow a plant from a seed! The magnifying glasses will be great and will be used to many, many science projects throughout the year.

I hope to get my colleagues excited about teaching science to children. Thank you so much. I can't wait to introduce these tools to the children.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Cole

  • Kindergarten Science Center

    Funded Nov 2, 2012

I am so happy to receive these much needed science supplies. In our school the focus is always on reading, and sometimes science falls by the wayside. I'm trying to incorporate as many science concepts into my language arts centers as I can. The kids are having fun and learning at the same time. The children love the new center tools. The sink the boat game is their favorite because they love playing with water. They are using critical thinking skills to figure out how many animals it will take to sink each of the boats. My children and I are so happy and grateful to have these supplies, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Nowak
