A New Look At Life
Funded Oct 18, 2009Thank you for your donation to my classroom. I cannot tell you how much the children enjoyed using the digital cameras to explore different subjects for artworks. The students were so engaged throughout the assignment and were eager to complete the assignment. After teaching the basics of photography I took my students on a field trip to complete a photo scavenger hunt in Downtown DC. The students worked in teams to find different subject matter and photograph it in two different ways.
The great part about having the digital cameras is that the excitement and learning from that assignment does not have to stop. In fact, I have already planned other class projects for other grades with this same technology. None of this would have been possible without you.
Students at my school are excited about learning and sharing their view of the world through their art and writing. Photography is just another outlet for them to share themselves and explore the world they live in. Thank you for investing in children, nothing that is done for children is forgotten. My students were amazed that someone who didn't know them would give a kind gift! Thank you! Thank you!”
