Thank you for the wonderful books for my classroom. My students have really enjoyed them. The books help the students understand the idea behind mathematics and give them excellent ways of making sense of problems. My students have to earn points in an Accelerated Reader program each quarter, and the books allow me to have them read about math. They have definitely helped my lower level students see math from a new perspective.

The math literature stories that you have donated have helped my students to understand how math is used in our world daily. We have used the books in small groups working on projects that involve math concepts from time, perimeter, fractions, and even graphing.
Budget is often an issue, and it can be hard to acquire needed materials. Without your donations, my students would never have been able to use the math literature books we now have. Math is not always seen as being connected to our lives but is isolated. The math literature books put math concepts into perspective for my students.

I wanted to thank you for your generous donation to my classroom.These materials were very helpful in both my math and science classes. I was able to use the math practice binders to help my high school students gain confidence in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. I was also able to use the majority of the items in my Functional Science class. This class is designed to help students learn basic Science skills that they will need to be productive adults.
We recently completed a unit on measurement. We were able to use the thermometers, scales, measuring tapes, rulers, and measuring cups. The students greatly enjoyed the ability to work on these concepts in a hands-on way. As the teacher, I'm very appreciative for the opportunity to use these tools to present the new ideas in different ways.
