    What a wonderful surprise! I found an email waiting for me this morning saying that this proposal was funded, so I was able to share the great news with my classes of students all day. I told them we will be receiving a shipment of books by Walter Dean Myers, an author they are familiar with from reading one of his books. My students and I are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new books and they look forward to checking them out and reading them soon! I only wish you could have been there when I told them that ANONYMOUS donors spent money to buy books for them. It is a priceless look of appreciation not often seen on the faces of 9th grade students. Your gift is not only bringing them new books, but a new appreciation for others and awareness of the good people in the world. We all thank you immensely”

  • We Read Seuss All The Time, We Read Seuss and Really Rhyme!
