Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness in donating to my classroom. As you know, my students are struggling in all areas of learning. Your donation made such an impact on my class. I waited until now to send a letter because I wanted you to hear the great news about my students' test scores! The average score for my class was 63 percentile in reading and 60th percentile in math!! I have never had such a great result at the end of a year from my students and I owe a great part of it to you!
I want you to know that your generosity has made it possible for my students to enjoy exercising. They are so happy with their new equipment. The balls are being used throughout the day especially during recess. My students are sharing their new balls with other second grade students. It is great to see students smiling and playing together. Thanks to your kind donation students are able to play basketball or soccer during recess.
During PE my students think they are playing games, but in reality they are exercising. They always remind me when it is time to go out for PE. My students also get a good work out on rainy days too; they dance to the physical fitness CD's. You have brought so much joy and happiness to my students. On behalf of all of my second grade students thank you so much!”
With gratitude,
Teacher

Thank you so much for your donation! Without you, we would not have had enough music stands for all the students in the music program. Also, because of you, we have music stands that do not tip over while the students are using them.
I don't know what we would have done without you. Our Winter Assembly ran so much smoother because we didn't have to exchange stands between numbers. Thank you for supporting our music program and recognizing that music is an important part of every child's education.
When I enter my classes today, I had a renewed sense of support and honor. I am honored that so many people chose to support my students in our efforts to teach life skills through music. The music program is built on a strong foundation of fundamental musical knowledge and skills. We try to impart the knowledge that with the proper practice, patience and perseverance we can achieve our goals in music and beyond. For the majority of our students this is the first time they have ever come in contact with an instrument and in a post-Katrina New Orleans, there aren't many quality music programs of this magnitude in a public school. That is why programs like donors choose are so crucial to fill the needs in high need schools such as this one. Teaching music, for me is a calling, it is not a job. My vision is to enlighten students with the power of music. I am not only thankful of your support, but I feel your support is a reflection of your kindness and love towards children. ”

Thank you so much for your generous donations!! You do not understand how much your gift means to us. The politicians up in Sacramento have sacrificed so many of our students' resources. We have lost our athletic program, arts program, librarian, janitorial staff, and support office staff. These resources which may seem frivolous to people not in the field of education, are vital to the total well being of our students. My goal was to get some new sports equipment so that my students would be able to benefit from the sportsmanship skills that team sports offers. Your generous donations have helped make that goal a reality. Generousity is a trait that is often returned. I know that the generosity you have show us will be returned to you ten-fold. Again THANK YOU!!”
Thank you all very much for the jump ropes! The students really get their hearts beating hard! The students are enjoying using the jump ropes to build team building skills and work together. We are also learning skills like backwards, cross over and partner jumping. Students enjoy seeing myself and the PE teacher trying these skills and being actively engaged. Our next skill will be learning double dutch. Students will use technology (the Internet) to research double dutch jumping and work with myself and PE teacher to learn and practice these new skills.
Students have a great time jumping rope and seem to be exhausted after Fitness Club each week, but look forward to it coming up again!
Thank you again for your generous donations and helping teach today's youth about the importance of physical fitness and activity!”
Thank you so much for contributing to our classroom. The children love the new supplies and are using them daily. We are up and down quite a bit in my room and having the materials to make this type of learning possible is awesome.
My school is located in a low socioeconomic area and it is sometimes difficult for parents to send or replenish school supplies for their children. Our school system is also dealing with cut backs from the state and there are no longer any classroom supply monies available to teachers.
In addition to the students who have been in my classroom all year, we also get several children who are transient. These children rarely bring any school supplies with them to class. Having school supplies readily at hand helps these children "fit" into our classroom too. It isn't easy to be the "new kid," but having the supplies like everyone else in the room helps.
Once again thank you so much for your generous gifts to our classroom!”

I graciously would like to thank each and every one of your generous donations toward my classroom goals of getting healthy and staying fit. It has been a difficult journey encouraging students to exercise, learn sportsmanship, and develop gross motor skills without any play equipment. As important as physical fitness should be, it is also unfortunate that school districts have nearly eliminated physical education in elementary education altogether.
However, since your donations arrived, my students are more enthused about playing organized sports. They get excited about recess and physical education. They enjoy playing team sports and they are also learning teamwork and leadership skills. I am thankful that your individual and organizational support found it important to give to a cause such as mine. Together, we strive to keep our children physically fit and healthy for their future. Thank you much.”

Thank you very much for your generous donation to provide a brand new carpet for my classroom. It has truly revolutionized my classroom from just a trailer to an amazing center for learning. We are able to have our while group read a louds on the carpet as well as do "Appreciations" every day, a time where we get to recognize each other for being kind friends. My students also use the carpet and numbers during center time where they read many of the books in our library and work on big floor puzzles.
Our school is still currently in trailers and it is still difficult for us to feel like we are a real school. This carpet has allowed my children to be in a "real" school setting by having the necessary things every first grade room should have. Thank you very much, I could not have done it without your financial help.”
Thank-you so much for your generosity towards my students and my music program at my school. We are a low income school and the current unemployment rate has hit our students' families very hard. This flute will allow me to give the gift of music to one more needy student. The beginning band is always full of so much excitement and your donations will allow one more student to enjoy that experience.
Pedro has been playing the flute for 2 years, and his clarinet needed repairs, so he is no using the one that all of you donated. He is one of my best players and is looking forward to playing in a high school band in 2 years. Thank-you for helping me to let him continue to play even when his original instrument was no longer working.
Please continue to support this wonderful website in helping deliver needed resources to our countries schools. The donations from people like you have greatly impacted my teaching on a daily basis. My school cannot afford to give me a budget to supply instruments, music, or repairs. Everything I do is through fund-raising at my school, grants, and this wonderful website.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Jazo
