Better Technology, Better Access with an Overhead Projector
Funded Dec 15, 2011The donations that all of you provided made my dream of bringing an efficient and operable overhead projector to my classroom. Since the day it arrived, I have used the overhead projector on numerous occasions. Each usage was memorable for a variety of reasons, but using the overhead projector guarantees that the following list of positive occurrences happens in my classroom. Firstly, my students like to participate in setting up the overhead projector. It does not take long and there are several experts now who claim to operate the overhead projector better than I can. It helps my students to feel as if they are a part of the learning process. Secondly, my students find it easier to focus with the overhead projector momentarily causing them to truly focus on the image or the task to which they were assigned. Thirdly, for the time that the overhead projector is in use, I can honestly say that every student has an opportunity to access the lesson.
