  • No Child Left Behind

    On behalf of our school and our students, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you, who have contributed in creating a great learning experience for our students during our school activities.

    With the equipment in hands, we are now able to bring a better quality sound and exciting music to serve our school activities such as assemblies, school dances, and other school gatherings. Now, everytime when our students begin to hear the music in our campus, they know interesting things are about to happen.

    Not only our students enjoyed our dazzling music, they also appreciated the quality sound that came with it. This had considerably lifted up our school spirit and improved our school positive environment. It also created a better mood and better enjoyment for all students. Since it enticed students' enthusiasm, it, in turns, caused them to actively want to participate and look forward for more of our school activities.

    Along with our inspiring music from the good equipment and the fun activities we had in store for them, our students now understand that they need to study well and behave well in order to earn and to deserve all the fun being planned for them. Thus, the result of this school year is, our student learning and student behavior had clearly improved. :-)

    Again, thank you very much to all of you who had participating in mind lifting our school's spirit. ”

  • Not Just Gym 2010

    I can't thank you enough for your generous donation to my students trough Donors Choose! The materials I was able to purchase with your donation, the jump ropes and the CDs, were the few components of the "Not Just Gym!" kit that the children were looking forward to receive the most. The students learned different dances and listened to many songs during PE class throughout the year. To have a CD of their own with all their favorite songs to use at home whenever they want is one of the best gifts that they could have receive! Another one of their favorite physical activities is jumping rope. Many times after a jump rope lesson my students would ask me: "Ms. B, can I borrow a jump rope to practice the new trick at home?" Your donation has made it possible for 240 students to have a jump rope of their own which they can use at home and practice the skills learned at school.

    Since many of our families are at or below the poverty level, jump ropes and CDs with dancing songs could sometimes be the only "toys" which encourage physical activity in the home! Therefore, your donation has made it possible for me to show my students and their families how invested I am in extending the Physical Education program from school to home and promoting the importance of exercise with the hope of instilling life-long healthy habits.

    Although the program takes place mainly at home, I tried to capture some photographs of the students receiving the materials and using them while in school and I am hoping that they will give you an idea of the joy the Not Just Gym! program brought to them.

  • A Growing Soccer Program

    First and foremost, thank you for your generosity in your assistance for our soccer team. It is telling how highly you all hold a well-rounded education for students. Your donations put us in a place where we were able to function as a well-equipped team. The water igloo, flags, whistles, play boards, soccer balls, and practice goal all contributed to a successful season!

    Our team attracted more students to come out to learn a new skill, build character and develop into responsible soccer players and students. You have definitely provided our students with an opportunity that would not otherwise exist. Your generosity does not go unnoticed!”

  • Middle School Basketball

    I want to thank everyone who donated to our

    "Middle School Basketball" project. I truly cannot express my gratitude

    to all the donors. Your donations will directly and promptly impact the

    lives of my students in such a positive way that cannot be put into

    words. Thank you so much and I hope to have some pictures an detailed

    information posted and sent with the students using and playing with

    the new basketballs. This donations is the first step in building our
