  • Reading's the Way to a Great Future! Help Build Our Library!

    Funded Dec 1, 2010

What a wonderful day is was (and subsequent weeks it has been) in our classroom after the arrival of these books for our library!  The students have been simply overjoyed about the variety and topics of books.  They have been begging to borrow and read them.  More students have been reading nonfiction and passing their AR tests than before we had these books without a doubt.  The energy and excitement for reading and learning has been charged up, and there are no words to show how grateful I truly am for that.    Students borrow books nightly, test on them the next day, and ask to borrow another book for that night.  They are constantly commenting on how lucky we are to have these books and sharing learned information with one another.

Thank you for your generosity in providing these high quality books for our class to read, enjoy, and learn!  We are so appreciative for your kindness and support of public education.  Thank you again!&nbsp”

    With gratitude,

  • Need Help........I Mean Really Need Help

    Funded Nov 10, 2010

I just want to take some time to thank all of you for helping me with this project. I was hesitant at first to apply for this some two months back, but I am so glad that I did. I know my students will benefit from your help, and that makes me happy as an educator. I will now be able to show them examples of the things they need visuals for, and for students with limited English skills it will be a huge help. I know this is also going to expand my teaching styles as well, and I have already been looking on the Internet for great ways to use this projector. It is good knowing there are still plenty of people who believe in public education, and are willing to help out those students who need the extra help. Thank you again, and most importantly my class thanks you as well.”

    With gratitude,

  • Help Me Capture My Kids!!

    Funded Oct 22, 2010

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for all of your donations to my project. It is great to see that so many people share my vision for reaching children and helping our schools.

The tool that you have funded will ensure that I will be able to deliver varied instruction that meets the needs of each and every student in my classroom, regardless of their learning style. No longer will science be bound to white boards and overhead projectors. Now science can come to life with blown up images from microscopes, and demonstrations on the big screen!

Thank you so much. I can't wait to introduce this tool to the children. ”

    With gratitude,

    Teacher
