I want to thank each of you for taking part in my class project. As small as the item may seem, glue sticks are useful and necessary in education. The materials came in time for second semester and the many projects to come. I had been running on my last batch of glue sticks that I had purchased during 1st semester.
My advisory students and anatomy students benefited from the resources for such activities as: vocabulary match, organ posters, and other projects from various subjects.
Continue being generous individuals and taking part in supporting educational projects.”
With gratitude,
Dr. Luna
This classroom project was brought to life by Wasserman Foundation and 3 other donors.
Thank you so much for all of your generous donations to make this project possible.Thank you so much for the chairs! The students love them so much. They are bright and colorful and easy to clean. They also go along with the new tables we have also received from this site. The chairs are a perfect fit for the students. The new chairs are also very sturdy and the children don't tip back in them. This makes them much safer for them as well. We are very appreciate for the funding of this project! Thanks again!!”
Wow! I am at a lost for words because in this present educational climate as a nation we have forgotten that our children need us we must be forever mindful of the present seeds that will become the future harvest. I thank you from the bottom of my heart without the journals we cannot do our science labs and observations. Our classroom atomosphere and climate are filled with the buzz of students learning and interacting and the journals are a major part of the learning in science. We use them everyday and we learn from them forever. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. The laptop, projector and USB drives that you donated were a big hit with the students. We've used them to play math jeopardy, learn about poetry through a power point presentation, as well as type up writing assignments and share them with the class. We use your donations everyday to engage in and enhance learning.
Our school is currently far behind in having technology in the classroom. Without you, the students would not have these crucial educational resources. You are making a huge impact on students, for that I thank you!
Because of your donations, my students have a chance to make a difference!”
Thank you so much for supporting this project!! The new tables and chairs are so awesome. The tables and chairs are just the right size for my students. They are sturdy, bright and colorful. Having these new tables and chairs provides more space in the room for students to move around without bumping into each other. Thus they are so easy to clean. The children really love these new tables and chairs. Thank you again for supporting this project!!!!!!!!!!!”

I am so touched and grateful for the funding of our project. Henrietta Lacks' story has helped launch an educational journey that my students will not soon forget.
By funding these books, you have given a great opportunity to my students. These books have encouraged my students to become stronger readers and more effective critical thinkers; they have encouraged them to become advocates for their own health and the health of their loved ones and communities. Without you, this real-life application could not be possible, and valuable science (and life) lessons would be lost.
I am thrilled to be able to share this inspiring experience with my students and colleagues. Thank you so much for your generosity and support!”
dioramasThe past few years, classrooms have suffered tremendously due to budget cuts. Schools have been unable to purchase basic supplies, like paper for copies and materials for science classes. One of the biggest blows to the plight of the underfunded teacher was the cancellation of Teachers Choice. In my first year of teaching seven years ago, we received $250 to spend on supplies and essentials for our classrooms. Last year, we only received $100. This year, we didn't receive any money. That's where you came to the rescue! With your generous donations, my classroom was well-stocked this year. My students had basics, like pens and pencils, and other important supplies, like construction paper and glue. My class just finished designing cities that run on renewable energy and the diaramas they created this year are better than ever, thanks so a closet stocked with supplies. The kids are taking great ownership over the items they received; one of my boys (who seems to care about nothing) jumped at the opportunity to be the keeper of the supply closet. He created a checklist showing how many times students borrowed pencils and pens and made students do "community service" each time they did so. I greatly appreciate your donations and so do the kids. Thanks again and I hope to be able to write you another thank-you letter in the future!”
Thank you all for your generous donations to support my classroom! My school currently has no lab inventory, so we science teachers do the best we can to bring science to life in our classrooms and plan hands-on activities. The lab equipment that you have donated has helped me make science more interesting for my students, and my classroom is really starting to turn into a science class that caters to all three learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic.
When we come back from Christmas break in January, I will be starting on my Physical Sciences unit. There are so many lab activities that go along with the objectives that I will be teaching, and I am excited to really put those supplies to good use.
The supplies that you have donated will help the students that I currently teach, the students that I will teach in the future, as well as other students in the school for years to come. Thank you all again. I would not be able to do what I am doing now without your support. ”
With gratitude,
Ms. Chang
