I Want to See!!!
Funded Dec 15, 2009Thank you so much for all of your help! We never could have gotten these microscopes without all of your help. We opened up a box and took out a microscope so that the kids could start to investigate with them, and they were so excited. They all wanted to see what was going on. We put a slide of the inside of my cheek under the microscope. At first the kids did not understand what they would see, but looking in the microscope they could see the cells. This helped them to understand that cells are in every living thing. After we used the microscope, the students used their new knowledge to complete some worksheets with partners. They were very excited to show me what they had learned with the microscope. Thank you for providing these students with a new experience that they may never have had otherwise.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Robinson
