Hi family and friends! We are so grateful for the quality education we were lucky to receive and feel that it played a huge role in shaping the happy lives we have now. We love this charity because it provides a way to directly help improve other children's education. Hi family and friends! We are so grateful for the quality education we were lucky to receive and feel that it played a huge role in shaping the happy lives we have now. We love this charity because it provides a way to directly help improve other children's education. Working in a Title I public school, I see that teachers bear the majority of the burden of paying for classroom materials including books, writing materials, seating, posters, etc. In the first grade classroom I'm in, the kids burn through materials like crazy, so the teachers need to regularly replenish the room. Donors Choose allows teachers to post their needs here, and donors can sift through the website to fund projects directly.
