Welcome. Running was a big part of my identity so you find I like to support coaches. I feel blessed I had caring compassionate coaching and teachers. Although we have 7 kids in my family I never lacked for training equipment. I want to thank Dicks Sporting Goods for matching so many of my contributions. Welcome. Running was a big part of my identity so you find I like to support coaches. I feel blessed I had caring compassionate coaching and teachers. Although we have 7 kids in my family I never lacked for training equipment. I want to thank Dicks Sporting Goods for matching so many of my contributions. You will notice I am a huge fan of giving to projects with matching donations. I am also a scientist. My biology teacher and HS coach George Cyr let me eat lunch in his classroom and look at the microbes swimming around in drops of water from a pond. I was part of the DOE's Human Genome Project in the late 90s. I've worked at the DOE's Joint Genome Institute since 1999 where we have been sequencing microbial, fungal and plant DNA of late. My wife is an Occupational Therapist. She is camp director of "Camp Winning Hands" in Livermore Ca each year for kids who were born with a hand difference. Attending the camp is free due to support from the Taylor Family Foundation. My passions are fishing and recycling. Recycling helps support my giving. My yearly goal is to collect $1000 of recycling and donate it every year. hide
