  • Help Us Capture Learning With A Digital Camera

    I am very excited about using my camera to teach my students how to use a digital camera. We will also use it to create text that is developmentally appropriate for them to read.

    I can't wait to let the "kinders" in my garden know there are wonderful people out there to help them learn. This will help them know they are cared for and they are important. It really does take an entire village to educate a child.

  • Empowering Through Technology!

    My students and I are so excited to be getting our new printer! Thank you so very much for your generous donation. My students will now have the capability of making their own class webpage by using one of the many functions of the scanner/printer. We will be able to use this on a daily basis, making copies, scanning work to be posted online and shown to parents. This is a great way to start our new year, and it's all because of you”

  • BrainPop in the Classroom: It's a NO-BRAINER!!!

    Thank you so much for your generous donation. Because of you, my students will be able to learn hundreds of concepts in all subject areas in a more auditory and visual way. I teach my students both language arts and science, and Brainpop will be used on a daily basis in both subjects to show videos to reinforce concepts that we are learning in class. We will even take advantage of the online quizzes and crossword puzzles. Brainpop Jr. will be used by my students who are struggling readers, and Brainpop Espanol will be used by my newcomer ESL students. Besides showing whole group lessons on Brainpop, my students will use the site during their spare time as research for their Science Fair Projects at one of our classroom computer stations. Last but not least, thank you so much for helping to make learning more FUN for my students and me!
