Oh my goodness hearing about this proposal being funded just made me so excited!! I cannot wait to get to work tomorrow to share this amazing students with my class. Due to the cost of the project, I really didn't know if anyone would be able to help during these tough economic times. I am in such sock and so happy right now, that no way of saying thank you seems at all adequate. Thank you so much much for your kindness and generosity. My students will make excellent use of the new computer and will take good care of it for the students to come in the following years. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!!”

I cannot thank you enough for your generous donation to help the students at our school! The equipment your donation purchased will help every student at our school! The students will now be able to visit computer labs to do research projects, type papers, develop multi-media presentations, and further develop basic computer skills that are needed to be successful in today's society!

The previous limited access to computers has made it difficult to accommodate certain types of learning in my classroom. For example, my students wrote letters to local meteorologists during our Weather and Climate unit in science. Many students developed well-written letters, but few were willing to continually rewrite their hand-written drafts to have an acceptable error-free draft. During lunch and study hall times I allowed students to come to my classroom and use my teacher computer, but still only few students came to complete the letters on their own time. With the computer lab and access to computers students can now not only do up to date research for projects, but they have the chance to develop high-quality final products of their work. Next year every student will be able to type and send their meteorologist letter!

I was not sure if this would ever happen and wondered if I was being too ambitious to request such an expensive item.
