Once again I will be participating in the Ariba's Mustache for Kids through donorschoose.org. Attached is the picture that was submitted for final voting last year. I didn't win any major awards and didn't come in last place - flying under the radar is where you want to be.
I want to thank you all again for donating your money and time for my classroom. It took a little time to get the document camera working. The school only has one old projector that I share with another classroom, so it took a little to get it hooked up. On top of that, the school's computers were too weak so I bring my laptop from home, but I finally got it hooked up and working. The students really enjoy it. It is amazing how it really makes a difference with their attention and willing to do the work (then they can come up to the front and write under the camera), it shows their hand and their work on the big screen. The pictures did not come out too well to show exactly what it is, but needless to say, it is really cool and we all appreciate the addition to the classroom! Thank you so much again.

This classroom project was brought to life by Korein Foundation and 9 other donors.
I just wanted to thank a minute to thank you for your very generous donations of books.
It is difficult to express how terrific it has been to receive this shipment of books. Students still cannot believe that people "in this economy" would give their own money to provide them with books. They keep saying, "I can't believe people would give us books who don't even know us." Your generosity has shocked and humbled us all.
Students were asking to sign out the books before they were out of the box from Barnes and Nobles. Several have already finished and are now on a second book! One boy told me that Diary of a Wimpy Kid was the only book that he ever finished. Another girl has been wanting to read The Lightning Thief all school year but just got it, thanks to you!
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. These books will give many hours of pleasure and truly instill a love of reading in each student.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Zeglin
