  • Bookless In Miami Part 2

    Wow... I am so excited about the books that will be arriving soon. This proposal means SO much to us. My second graders have been diligently reading since September, and many of them have a limited number of books to choose from that are on their current reading level.

    With your help, I will be able to fulfill their needs by quenching their thirst for reading with NEW books to choose from!! These books will be read by many young readers, not only this year, but for many years to come.

  • Building "Smarter Math" Students

    It will be a great pleasure to have additional math items to show parents/guardians and other teachers how they can help their children excel in math. I am so excited that this project has been funded. The students are truly going to have fun learning and being able to demonstrate their new math skills to an audience. I look forward to not only using these items within the math curriculum but also developing new and exciting games that the students can play and learn from. Then having the students use these games to teach their parents/guardians how to better help them learn math. Thank you again for your help in my classroom”
