  • Learning On Wheels!

    Funded Nov 28, 2009

Thank you so much for donating to our project! I wish you could have seen our students' faces when they walked into the room and saw our new "Learning On Wheels" station! They were so excited, and we started using it immediately! We have used it in every subject all throughout the day.

This station is just the right height for our kindergarten students to use, and it helps me to easily organize materials. The magnetic board allows our students manipulate words. This is SUCH an important part of their reading development. The students are also able to use dry-erase markers to practice their writing skills. There is no end to the learning that can take place using our new station!

We are so very grateful for your generosity! Thank you for your kindness, and thank you for enriching the lives of our students! :)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Malone

  • Pig...Flies

    Funded Oct 3, 2009

For myself and on the behalf of all of my students, I give you all my thanks. We only began reading "Pigman" this week, but the students are already excited about the story and are eager to read--which is phenomenal. Before, when reading the selections from our text, the students always asked if we could do another lesson instead. Now, they are looking forward to reading assignments and asking when we will get back to the book if we are working on grammar or writing instead. This is a beautiful thing.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Bonds
