Woooooohoooo! Join me to help raise money for a teacher in need through the Donorschoose.org blogger challenge! Last October, the 2007 Blogger Challenge inspired the web community to help 75,000 kids in high-need public schools. This October, bloggers and their readers are setting out to provide even more help to students in low-income communities.

Thank you so much for your generosity. These books are going to make an incredible impact on my students' learning this year and years to come. As soon as they arrive my students will be able to truly enjoy the books they are reading as well as use the books to improve their writing. We are currently working on our first writing piece so these books couldn't be coming at a better time. Thank again for helping my third grade students improve in their literacy skills as well as give them some great examples of authors and books.
