Life Is Better In Color
Funded Nov 1, 2009Thank you so much for donating supplies to my classroom. The students have a new excitement about each activity and they treat the new crayons and paints with such a great deal of respect. Now we find a way to use the materials almost every day and it has brought out artists that I didn't know I had in class.
After using broken crayons, dried out paints and brushes for the first half of the year, the students treasured the new supplies. All of a sudden, every activity was fun again and you could see each child taking a new found pride in their work. They are often so excited to use the new supplies that they forget we are learning along the way.
You have no idea what it means to the students to have these nice supplies. It has given each student a new spark of excitement for completing their work and doing their best. Everyday they talk about you, the strangers who wanted to make their classroom better. Even though they don't know who you are, they truly feel blessed because of your giving hearts and often ask me to invite you to school so they can thank you in person. You have no idea how much you have impacted our lives and we all feel lucky to have received such amazing gifts.”
