I cannot express in words the impact of you generous donation on my classroom as a whole. Since the donation of this projector in my classroom, students have engaged with technology daily through power points, video clips, and even presenting their own digital work. I encourage students to engage with this technology as often as possible and am even in the process of making a smart board that, without this projector, could not exist.

Last year, my students overcame great adversity without the help of technology by growing an average of 2 years in their reading levels without the help of a projector. I cannot yet fully imagine our potential this year with your kind donation of this projector, but I am beginning to see pieces of it come into fruition. Students are more engaged in my lessons, I spend less time writing everything out, and students are preparing for a world with which technology is now deeply embedded.

Without donors like you, my classroom would be much farther from my vision of a classroom that provides students with access to any career and college of their choice. Thank you again for bringing technology into Baltimore Public Schools.”

Words cannot describe how thankful I am for your generous donations to our project. The LCD projector that you donated help my students every day. We use them to present students IEP's (Individualized Education Plan) at their meetings, present power point presentations on "Student Driven IEP's" and also for various other activities, such as projecting notes and graphic organizers on to the board.

Without donors like you, many classrooms in Baltimore would go without much needed and appreciated supplies.

We are truly grateful for your generous donations to our classroom. The book binding machine, and colorful printing paper allowed the students' work to come to life. They were excited to publish their work. They knew that they could put it together to create a book. The personal laminating machine also allowed students to protect their work so that it would last longer. Finally, the recycling game taught students the importance of recycling. Likewise, it taught them items and materials that are recyclable.

With many budget cuts, teachers often have to spend their hard earned money to purchase materials and supplies for their classroom. However, with the help of donors like you, we don't have to worry about having enough supplies. We can actually concentrate on teaching and making learning a great experience for children. Thank you all for helping me get an LCD projector for my classroom. It has made an incredible impact on my students and their learning. Now that I can project the notes on the board, I've noticed that my students can follow along more easily during instruction and they are definitely taking better notes. As a result, their test scores have improved, which makes all of us very happy!

My students have also enjoyed looking at pictures and videos of Spanish-speaking cultures, which has helped broaden their understanding of the world around them. I am able to take my students on virtual field trips everyday, traveling from Spain to Guatemala to the Dominican Republic, all in a matter of minutes. These experiences have invested my students in learning Spanish so that they can go off and take some pictures of their own some day.

Before I got the projector, I had to save my engaging lessons for a day when I'd be able to borrow one of the school's projectors. Now, I have an amazing resource my students and I can use every day. I love that I now have the ability to plan more interesting, interactive lessons because I have the resources to do it to. It really has made a huge difference in my classroom. Thank you for your kind generosity in donating to the project, "Projecting Our Learning Through Media." Ever since the products arrival, the students have been actively engaged in activities for both reading and mathematics. They are able to see reading come to life through interactive read-a-loud books from a myriad of websites and are able to form cooperative groups when doing math exercises.

The impact this project has had on the classroom has been profound. Students are immersed in learning because of this great tool. Additionally, students are learning early on the importance of technology!

Thank you everyone! We were in desperate need of a document camera and your donations could not have come at a better time. It was a gift we weren't exactly counting on but will welcome into our room with open arms!

We are being our intervention work to prepare for high stakes testing and this camera will help us out a lot! We can now save paper and just project our work on the board to be completed in our notebooks. We appreciate it and we are sure there are some trees out there that appreciate it as well!

The new seating is really the hit of the 5th grade. Each day I award those students working hard and being nice with the option of sitting in one of the new floor seats that I received. Competition is high! Students rush into class eager to be the first one selected.

During lunch and after school hours I typically find myself with individuals, study groups, and friends using the seats to get work done or just relax after a long day.

It really has created a unique and wonderful feel to my classroom, allowing students to spread out, get comfortable, and away from the desk and chair seating that dominates the school. Thank you again, for your support in making learning fun, enjoyable, and for helping to create a warm safe space in my class. ”
