  • Seeing Is Believing

    Funded Nov 19, 2008

Thank you so much for funding this equipment for my classroom. I have a very difficult time teaching art history and showing powerpoints and artwork associated with artists without a screen to project the images. This is such a vital part of my curriculum and it has been something that has not been taught at the level it needs to be taught because of lack of equipment. Your contribution to my classroom and my students will make a big difference in my students' understanding of artwork and their ability to relate to cause and effect of masters in the field”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. N.

  • Future Nobel Prize Winners in Science!

    Funded Oct 31, 2008

Thank you so much for caring about our students! My kids are so excited that they are now competitive with the other teams in our area. Your kind donation has generated much excitement for our kids.

I have two students who were so down last year that we couldn't afford to make a good electric car, and with your donation, they are already making plans for this year with some renewed optimism.

I can't thank you enough, our kids love science and you are allowing us to really do what the kids love so much.

    Thank you,

    Christin”

    With gratitude,

    Teacher

  • We Can All Be Scientists

    Funded Oct 30, 2008

On behalf of myself and my students we send our most heartfelt thanks. I have a wonderful class this year with an amazing drive to learn whatever they can get their hands on. Unfortunately, with the No Child Left Behind guidelines, our science time has been cut completely. My students have expressed an interest in doing science before and after school and during their recess time. These supplies will allow them to do that and get the most benefit out of their time. I cannot wait to see their excited faces! Again, I thank you for supporting me and my students and for demonstrating the importance of education.

    Sincerely,

    Angel”

    With gratitude,

  • CSI: Class Science Investigations

    Funded Oct 29, 2008

I am thrilled that so many people saw our project and thought it was worthwhile. Thank you so much for your generosity to my students. My students will be so excited to have science outside of textbooks and worksheets. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Baker

  • Making Math Meaningful With Manipulatives

    Funded Oct 11, 2008

I can't tell you how thrilled I am that this project is funded. I love teaching math to my 5th graders, and seeing them have enough manipulatives so that they can work efficiently is a dream come true. Your generosity has made it possible for not only this year's students, but for students for years to come to enjoy the thrill of "getting it" because the abstract concept is made more real for them through the use of concrete manipulatives. This will make such a difference to my students. Again, thank you so much!

  • Do You Have the Time?

    Funded Oct 10, 2008

This is incredible! I just started teaching my class about elapsed time, thinking that no one would fund this proposal. There are one or two kids who get it, but the rest are really struggling with this. Knowing that these materials will arrive in a few weeks makes me rethink my plans. I think I will put elapsed time on the back burner until these materials make it here. I know that the kids will love using the flip books, and I have great plans for a game format that I will use incorporating these books. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. This will really help.

    Sincerely,

    Monic”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Burke

  • Whiteboard Interactive

    Funded Oct 4, 2008

I am so thankful to you for responding to my request to obtain this much needed resource for my classroom. I am so excited to share the materials with my students. Please be assured that these materials will greatly benefit my students, especially those who are visual learners. Thank you once more”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. B.

  • Science Laboratory Kits

    Funded Oct 2, 2008

Thank you so much for the materials for my classroom! I am very excited to let my students know that you have given items that will help them learn about science topics. I know they will enjoy exploring the world around them through these activities and reading passages. Your generosity is setting a wonderful example. Please know that we are very grateful”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Lanier

  • Visual Specimens for Special Ed Science Class

    Funded Oct 2, 2008

Thank you very much for your generous donation to my science center project for our classroom. I am interested in providing students with more hands-on experiences and these materials will help to make that possible. We are all looking forward to this addition to our classroom! Thank you again”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Mehring

  • I Love Science

    Funded Oct 2, 2008

I can't even begin to express my excitement and joy upon learning that my request for science materials had been funded! Thank you so much!

Your generous donation will make science come alive for my students. I know it will help them develop a life-long love of science. It may be the catalyst these students need to become a future biologist or physicist.

Again, thank you for your generosity. The kids and I can't wait!

    Sincerely,

    Marc”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. W.
