I was so thrilled after checking my email to see that our project had been accepted. It's the end of the school day and the children have gone home. I can't wait for tomorrow to share the news. As a first time user of this site, what else can we say but thank you, thank you,thank you. Our outdoor writing project is back in motion. THANK YOU so much for thinking about my students and funding this proposal! I am so excited!!! My students were so excited when I told them we would be getting a new digital camera!!! Even my shyest student was jumping for joy, knowing that she would be able to use the camera to take photographs! You have made it possible for the children to learn while having fun! We can’t wait to start choosing our photos and writing stories to go along with them! We’re hoping to start using our camera as soon as it arrives, for all of our special activities: birthdays, field trips, assemblies, visual – performing arts, reading buddies, homework, and much more!
