Dear Classroom Donors,

My students and I would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for donating to our classroom project. The resources that we received have made a major impact in the lives of my students. Before we received these resources, my students had limited access to an old outdated printer. The printer was only capable of printing in black ink, and we had to share the printer with the other classes on our grade level.

Now that we have these resources in our classroom, my student's have truly been showing off their creative sides. They really enjoy using the printer, and I have showed them some really interesting ways to use the scanner and copier when uploading pictures and clip art to their narrative writing pieces. They have also used the printer to make some really neat projects in color.

Without the help from you generous donors, this experience for my students could have never been possible. My students and I are so gracious to you all for taking the time to read our project on this website as well as donate to our project's cause. Once again, thanks to all of you for your help. We appreciate each and everyone of you.”

This is a token of my gratitude for your generous donation to my classroom. Your gift has delivered a document camera to my classroom. What a wonderful gift! Many of my students are visually impaired. The camera magnifies the printed word on the page making it possible for some students to see letters clearly for the first time. This is one less hurdle for them to overcome on the path to reading. Reading is the gateway to all other learning. Other students are able to use the camera in group settings to display their work shown to everyone in the classroom.

Our school district faces many challenges. Without YOUR help, this tool would remain one of my dreams that I have had for, well more than a few years.

Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms would go without. When you lay your head on the pillow tonight, remember you did a good thing for a child you will never meet.

I want to begin by letting you know you have positively impacted the life of a child. Not all children learn best by listening to a lecture, working out of a workbook, or reading a book. They need to express themselves through creative means. By donating to donors choose, you gave these students the opportunity to express what they learned through creative means and interactive play. Recently, one of my students said, "I didn't know learning could be so much fun." Those words are priceless. You made this possible. ”

Recieving I-Pods to aid in learning was one of the most exciting things to happen to my students this school year. We were all on pins and needles awaiting the arrival of our new learning tools. When the I-Pods arrived, we began a new learning adventure.

My students and I have loaded the I-Pods with everything from spelling games to math facts. Students are able to experience games that match what they are learning in class. They are also able to use the I-Pod's Internet capabilities as a research tool. I am able to cater to each student's needs. If a student needs extra practice spelling states, I can use the I-Pod to help them practice. The possibilities are endless.

Many of my students would have never experienced this type of technology. Your generosity has brought an excitement for learning into my classroom. My students are discovering that there is more to learning than sitting down with paper and pencil! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

I would like to thank you all for remembering the subjects that help to build character. Often, we put math, science, and social studies on the shelf. Your generous donations have helped my class to take them off of the shelf.

The CD-Roms were an immediate hit in my classroom. We use them with our interactive white boards. Students are able to become active participants in review games, and learning activities. The CD-Roms cover tons of science and math topics from addition to types of rocks. The students get excited when I pull them out. I have seen students retain information from the activities, because they learned it in a fun way.

My students also love the geography question of the day chart. It helps them to learn about not only the United States, but the entire world. They are able to locate countries and cities that are beyond their reach. This tool is very meaningful, because some of my students never leave their neighborhood. They have no idea that there is a world outside of their neighborhood!

My school district has a strong push for math and reading. While these subjects are important, I believe that a well rounded student is built when they learn all subjects. THANK YOU, for helping me to build well rounded students.”
