Spotlights are so beneficial to our performing arts school. We currently have to rent them if we want to have one for any of our productions. Our dance, theater and vocal departments are so very grateful for this generous gift to our performance spaces. Our design-focused students will get to learn different light techniques and design possibilities with the instrument. Our performers will get their "moment in the spotlight." Our audiences will truly get to see our students shine. Thank you for all of these opportunities”
Thank you for your generous contribution to our project. These tablets will be an important step in updating and improving the equipment and technology we are making available to our students. They will be used as part of our Graphic Design classes, as well as other projects the student work on across the curriculum. Your donation will keep our program moving forward. This equipment is important for us to provide 21st century skills to our students.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Matthe”

Thank you so much for donating to the Ebonies and Ivories Project! I am so excited to share the news with our students that we will be adding a new digital piano to the piano lab. Just yesterday, a student asked if she could come after school to practice in the piano lab, because she misses the experience of trying out new music on a piano (and her family has not been able to afford a new piano since Hurrican Katrina.) As I write this note, I have two students here practicing during their lunch. As you can see, the students really cherish this piano lab.
It is truly an exciting place to teach students. During songwriting class, I have seen students pour their hearts into songs about how much they love their families. I have watched a room full of rambunctious 8th grade boys, many of whom didn't do well in other performing arts classes, sit completely focused at the piano to practice playing "Carol of the Bells."
A local university donated a system that allows us to hook all the pianos to earphones which can be connected to the teacher. This allows students to play alone, in pairs, in groups or as a whole class. It is a wonderful tool to learn music and to have students share in the learning process. Students who are easily distracted or learn more slowly can be given more time, without being isolated in any way.
This additional piano allow us to take more students into chorus and piano classes and to share this wonderful resources with more children. Thank you so much for providing this generous gift, especially during these difficult economic times. I can assure you that your donation will be used to do great things in this community.
Thank you, thank you for generously supporting this middle school's newspaper--and its students! I cannot wait to tell my seventh and eighth graders that there are people out there who believe in them. The students are already planning a few of the "evergreen" stories for the spring newspaper--one on banned books, another on what feminism means to young people. The eighth graders have claimed the story on their experience applying to high school in an underfunded school district. Your support makes their dreams possible and we are so grateful. Thank you again for believing in them”
Thank you very much for your kind donation. It's wonderful for teachers like me to know that there are others out there supporting the work we do. Your generosity will make a very cool project possible in my classroom--one that I hope will stick with the kids for years to come. They will be thrilled to learn about M.C. Escher and to try out printmaking for the first time. They will also be learning important geometry terms and concepts that will help them succeed in their math class. Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart!
I have never been so happy to read my e-mail as I was today. How exciting to see that my wish for our classroom has been granted. This document camera will change the way I do things in my lessons. My students will have the opportunity to see things that were difficult to see before. We can share information they haven't dreamed possible. I'm so excited to share this technology with them. Thank Thank Thank you!
Thank you so much for choosing our project to fund! It is so reassuring to find the support for our students in the classroom and for that I thank you. This simple donation will be the beginning of an empowerment for our students. This project allows us to build on students' interests in technology and turn that passion into academic success.
Thank you so much for funding my project. I have had great success with the digital graphics classes this semester. A very high percentage of the kids are engaged and excited from project to project. I know that they will be even more excited to hear that they are getting their tablets in time for the the end of the semester, especially those students that are involved in other art classes. Thank you so much”
On behalf of the second grade students in my class, thank you so much for supporting us with an LCD projector. For a generation of students that is advancing more and more technologically, an LCD projector is the best way for me as a teacher to keep up with them. I can't wait to surprise them with exciting material, activities, and lessons with this projector! What a dream come true!
Thank you, again and again, for your wonderful support. I am speechless and will forever be grateful”

On behalf of myself and the other Special Education teachers at the school who are piloting a program to teach our students computers skills, thank you so much for your generosity. Our students have just begun using a cart of MacBooks purchased specifically for this program, and have been overwhelmingly excited about doing so. Unfortunately, our school neglected to purchase additional needed equipment like the external hard drives you are supplying, which will be of great help in saving those video projects we are working on which are too large to save on pen drives. Your generosity is truly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Larr”
