Blabbermouse Readers, you are the best!
Remember, every little gift counts! Five dollars! Ten dollars! $12.50! Whatever you feel you can do. This is a great way to give a little and see EXACTLY where your dollars are going!
Thank you from the bottom of my Mousy heart!
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to know my students will finally have access to an efficient, workable printer in our classroom! Being able to see their work in print validates what the students do in the classroom. The printed products give them the feeling that their work is important. For those students who have fine motor difficulties, this will be perfect. Some of the students who receive occupational therapy services have already fine tuned their basic typing skills and are just waiting to put them to use. I know we will get much use from the printer, and it will be something that many students will be able to use in the years to come. Again, thank you for helping us in such a generous way”
Thank you so much for your support on this project. My students are elated and can't wait to get started. They've already picked out their topics for our first edition! I can tell already that this will be a beneficial and rewarding experience for my students and I couldn't have done it without you”
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You have truly blessed our classroom. The old tape player we were using finally died yesterday. Our school library does not have any more to lend us. This is perfect timing. We will use this CD player and the headphones throughout our curriculum. It will be used as a listening station. I will also use it with students that are reading below grade level. They will be able to listen to our text books on CD. We are so excited that you decided to touch the lives in our classroom. Thank you very much for supporting our classroom.
Thank you so much for funding the digital camera for my classroom! I only had 3 children out of 21 who were able to purchase their class pictures this year. One mother cried when I told her the minimum cost for the school photos of her twin children was $46.00, and she told me that she couldn't afford them. Most of my children's parents do work, but they are trying to buy the necessities. Because we have so few who can afford a yearbook, our school does not even publish one. Again this year, we did not take class photos because of the cost. Since you have been so kind to fund the camera, my students will have several pictures to take home. I plan on making each one a scrapbook with special photos of them and their friends at school. Now, they will also have a class photo to keep. I also will be using it to take pictures to show them while I am teaching vocabulary words to make the English connection easier. You have truly made my day!
When I sit down at Thanksgiving next week, I will remember your kindness. Please know that you have done a wonderful thing, and from the bottom of my heart I thank you”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Townsend
